I want to continue my education until I receive a PhD because I love my field of study. I want to teach preferably at a university level but I know that these jobs are extremely difficult to procure. I have been told that no public school will hire me if I have a PhD,because I will be overqualified. Will a PhD also over qualify me to teach at a highly ranked private/prep school?
